Take a chance

It was a hottest day of the year so far. 4 years back. My three best friends, Sarah (same name as me), Amanda and Ashlee, were out walkin around, as there was nothing else to do.
We'd already gone swimming and to the shops, so we just walked around the area where Amanda lives. Then Amanda suggested we go an see if Colm and Dan were going to come out and enlighten us with some ideas. We hadnt called for them ever before because there really wasnt any point, as they were always with their friends from school.
But today we were so desperate, we decided to take a chance. I didnt tell anyone, but i had a secret crush in Colm! We called them an luckily, theor friends werent there, so they came out. Everyone sat on the grass complainin about how hot it was. I notice Colm and Daniel whispering to each other. ''We'll be back in a minute,'' they giggled.
Soon we saw them casually coming out of the house with their hands behind their backs. ''WATER FIGHT!!'' yelled Colm. They hd water guns, buckets, and bottles all full of cold water! They started flinging it at us, and we ran around screaming with fun and laughter. The water was perfect to cool us down. I grabbed a bucket from Colm (whom i fancied) and flung some at him. It got his tee shirt! ''I'm gonna get you now, missy!'' he laughed. He ran after me all the way up the road (which was save cause it was a small cul-desac and had no cars.)
I soon became out of breath and he caught up with me. I fell on the grass because he had dropped the bucket and all the water was gone. The he fell down beside me laughing. When we calmed down, we stood up shaking the excess water off ourselves. Then we stared at each other for a lil while he walked toward me and kissed me! It lasted a minute or two, but no one could see, so it was totally perfect. I couldnt wait to tell the others!
''See you later on in the youth club!'' he said smiling!
''Bye!'' i managed to say, as i watched him take the bucket and go into his house.
IT WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!
